Twenty-one year old Beatrix Halter was a not so famous writer in New York, she wrote many of her books about animals.One winter day it was very snowy and Beatrix decided to write a book about a land of talking animals that had many interesting personalities. She wrote for at least nine months then she titled it; The Mysteries Of New Mckascule Island. She turned it in to her publisher and a few moths later you could find it in any local book store.Unfortunately the sales of the book were slow Beatrix was soon struggling because of the amount of books sold. In fact she only gets twenty-thousand dollars a year.
