A Poem By Alex Brown
Some People think I am a big fat slob
but rumor has it I do my job
During the day they think I'm lousy
because I'm sleepy and drowsy
What I do at night; nobody knows...
Until one night my owner snuck in
And saw me throwing my seeds
And crashing my wheel,
two of my nightly deeds.
My quick reply was to stop short
and look her in the eye
Maybe if I'm still; I'll disappear
and the illusion may delude that I am not here
Up partying all night, making a mess
Oh, maybe it's not bad my owner saw me,
Now I don't have to confess
I'm really not a slacker or slob
Being active at night is just my job!
